Nowadays when we say are you guys more than friends? That seems to throw some people off because it doesn’t say much about their relationship status. It’s just “more than friends.” There are various forms when you go beyond just “more than friends.” You have the ‘close friends’ who are the ones you know you’ll have a good time with and trust. Then you have your ‘best friends’ who are the ones you can share secrets with and have a really, really, fun time when going out, but sometimes they can be a little weird and crazy but you ignore that fact about them because they are your best friends. Next you have your ‘friends with benefits’, which I hope you know what that means. If not, here’s a PG-13 visual explanation of this so I don’t get in trouble. Then you have your typical romantic relationship/friendship which you both do couple things together. And lastly, you have the ‘What are we?’ kind of friendship where you both know you’re each other’s friend but don’t quite know where you stand in the friend spectrum because you both are either too shy to do anything about it or that someone is not willing to take things to the next level. So that should cover all the bases of it, let me know if I left something out. Now since we went over that, let’s go over 10 signs that you both are probably more than friends.

1. You both are hitting each other up constantly

If you both are texting, calling, hanging out, snap chatting, or Morse coding every day, then that’s honestly abnormal. If you don’t believe me, then try comparing this particular friend to another friend. If you’re hanging out with that friend like once a week, but this particular friend is like your number one person to go to, then that’s a good sign that you guys are probably more than friends.

2. You both spend way too much time together

When you both enjoy each other’s company and actually having fun in the process, which probably means you guys aren’t just typical friends. Especially when you both end up planning hangouts together one-on-one. These friendly hangouts could be a start of something more than just friends. One hangout after another and sooner or later these aren’t going to be hang outs, it’ll start being dates. That is if you’re fine with it. Here are signs that she likes you more than a friend.

3. You both have met each other’s parents

This is probably a good indicator that you guys are more than friends. You both tend to go to each other’s family gatherings, having dinners together at the parent’s house and even attending holiday events together. If so, you guys are definitely more than friends. I’ll be happy if my friend even takes me out to a fast food restaurant and say hi to a cashier. But I guess I’ll just take myself for now.

4. You both are watching movies together

Okay normal friends go out in groups to watch movies, but if you both are going out with each other watching movies, it’s moving more towards a date. Watching a movie could just be an excuse for spending more time together or just an excuse to do couply things together. I’m just saying. And if you are going to each other’s place to watch movies, then it’s definitely more than friends. Here are signs that he likes you more than a friend.

5. You both are sharing secrets with each other

You know those dirty secrets that you’ve been hiding all these years or those fetishes that you have that can’t be expose to normal friends or just to any other humans in general. Yeah, I’m talking about those. If you’re sharing them to each other, you’re definitely more than friends. And if you both are attracted to each other, you might just become more intimate and start flirting. The only down side to this is that if you both end up breaking up or you end up hating each other, you just gotta hope they don’t expose you.

6. You both are extremely helpful and loyal to each other

So, there’s this one time there’s this cute girl in my math class helping me with homework and she was really good at math and we started talking and we got along really well. I thought she was really into me, but then I found out she was a math tutor at the tutorial center and her job was basically to help students in math. It became really awkward when I slipped my number to her. Thank god she graduated before me and I didn’t see her ever seen. So that incident made me realize that I needed to add loyal with it because sometimes people can be saving lives but aren’t particularly interested in you because it’s their job. So, if you both rely on each other for help or advice and are loyal to each other even if it means waking up in the middle of the night to help each other out, then you guys are definitely more than friends.

7. You both are very touchy with each other

Do normal friends even do that? Last time I checked, I couldn’t even touch my my friend… She’s in the future. I have yet to reach her.

8. You both are talking about the future

Unlike my nonexistent counterpart, you and this person will at one-point talk about the future. Sharing dreams and goals together. If that’s the case, you both have already entered the close friend stage. And if you both support and motivate each other’s plans and goals along the way, then you’re getting a head start in moving towards best friends. But who knows what might the future hold between you two.

9. You both are comfortable with each other

Usually when you first meet someone or hangout with random people that you don’t know, you want to look decently nice and have manners and behave yourself so people don’t look at you like you’re some kind of savage. But when you get to know someone and you both actually click, then you can let your savagery come out and if that doesn’t scare them away and, instead, they reciprocate back, then you probably know you both are more than friends.

10. You both have GPS tracker turned on for each other

Now for those who have a smart phone with apps like Find My Friends or using Snapchat’s share your location service, they’re basically GPS tracker to see where the person is located but of course they have to take their phone with them because it tracks their phone. When you both share your location with each other, you’re basically saying I’m going to stalk you when we are not together so I know you’re safe and not messing with other hoes because I’m the only one for you. If that’s the case, you already know you both are more than friends.

Overall, there are more signs than just 10 to tell if you both are more than friends. I left out some of them because I feel like I’ve gone over them in other videos such as being jealous, eye contact, compliments, body language, respect, attention to detail and many more. Sometimes when you both are really bonding together, it’s good to try to be direct at one point to see where you both actually stand whether you want to just be bffs or move onto something more romantic.
